Patent Suit Targets Apple, PayPal, Victoria's Secret

Law360 (March 15, 2011, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Cordance Corp. and Efficient Online Purchasing LLC filed suit in Delaware on Monday accusing Apple Inc., PayPal Inc. and the online retail unit of Victoria's Secret of infringing a patent for an automated online data communications system.

The companies sued in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, seeking judgments of infringement, injunctive relief and damages.

The suit asserts U.S. Patent Number 6,757,710, issued in 2004 and titled "Object-based online transaction infrastructure."
