Investors Accuse ICG Of Misleading Statements

Law360, New York (April 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- International Coal Group intentionally misled investors about its operations in the prospectus for its initial public offering, according to a new lawsuit filed by ICG shareholders.

The suit, filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia by two pension funds, claims that ICG made false and misleading statements in documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in advance of a stock offering made in December 2005.
