Fish & Richardson Snags Applied Material's IP Head

Law360, New York (October 6, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former head of intellectual property at chip equipment maker Applied Materials has joined Fish & Richardson’s Silicon Valley office, the firm said.

Don F. Kumamoto has joined the firm as of counsel in its litigation group, Fish & Richardson said in a statement.

Kumamoto last served as vice president of intellectual property and IP litigation for Applied Materials, Inc., the world’s largest maker of semiconductor production equipment.
