Asbestos Removal Co. Indicted For Improper Disposal

Law360, New York (March 22, 2011, 3:41 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts grand jury on Friday handed down a criminal indictment charging an asbestos removal company with flouting environmental laws and improperly disposing of the carcinogenic insulation.

AEI Environmental LLC and its owners face charges of violating the Massachusetts Clean Air Act and other environmental laws after authorities busted the company for carrying out asbestos removal without a license and storing hundreds of bags of toxic debris at a self-storage facility, Attorney General Martha Coakley announced.
