Technicians Take Aim At Qwest In FLSA Suit

Law360 (April 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A purported class action has targeted Qwest Communications International Inc., alleging that the phone service provider forced its network technicians to work through their break periods and past their shifts without proper compensation.

Qwest’s current and former technicians in Minnesota, who brought the suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Tuesday, claim Qwest and its subsidiaries violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and state labor laws.
