Ex-HP CEO Fights To Keep Ouster Letter Private

Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 10:07 PM EDT) -- Former Hewlett-Packard Co. CEO Mark Hurd on Wednesday said he planned to appeal a Delaware court ruling in a shareholder suit that would unseal a letter describing sexual harassment allegations leveled against him that prompted his departure.

In a letter sent from his attorney to the Delaware Court of Chancery, Hurd asked Judge Donald Parsons Jr. to delay unsealing the document while he appeals the ruling. A hearing on the issue is set for Friday.
