Chile To Expand Market For US Beef Products

Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 7:54 PM EDT) -- U.S. beef producers can now ship a broader range of their products to Chile, following months of meetings between American and Chilean officials, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced Wednesday.

U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, along with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, announced that the U.S. reached an agreement with the Chilean government that would expand the country’s market for U.S.-produced beef and beef products.
