Lawmakers To Introduce Bill To Amend OSHA

Law360, New York (April 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Lawmakers are expected to reintroduce a law that would amend the Occupational Safety and Health Act to protect employees not currently covered by the act.

Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.) said during a hearing of the House Subcommittee on Workforce Protections Tuesday that she and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) will introduce the Protecting America’s Workers Act.
