SAP Patent Row Makes Way Toward Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (March 28, 2011, 3:34 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge approved a final judgment Thursday that SAP AG does not infringe ElCommerce.com Inc.'s patent for supply chain management based on the court's claim construction order, paving the way for an appeal.

Judge Jan E. Dubois of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania signed off on a joint motion for entry of final judgment, which the parties requested following the court's March 1 order that precluded infringement of the asserted method claims by SAP and invalidated the asserted system...
