Public Workers Sue Wis. Over Labor Law

Law360 (March 25, 2011, 11:42 PM EDT) -- Firefighters and public works employees reportedly challenged a Wisconsin law stripping collective bargaining rights from many public workers Friday, claiming legislators violated the state constitution by passing the measure without a required quorum.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin's Legislative Reference Bureau published the polarizing legislation despite Dane County Circuit Court Judge Maryann Sumi issuing a temporary restraining order blocking Wisconsin Secretary of State Douglas La Follette from publishing the law's text.
