Bankrupt Aircraft Co. Targets Union Pact

Law360, New York (March 25, 2011, 7:15 PM EDT) -- Alabama Aircraft Industries Inc. asked a Delaware bankruptcy court Friday to allow the company to reject a collective bargaining agreement, saying a union’s refusal to modify the pact has pushed the company to the brink of liquidation.

AAI and the United Auto Workers Union both presented witnesses detailing their respective positions in stalled labor negotiations at a hearing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
