NLRB Rules In Union Clash

Law360 (April 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Unionized employees at a Massachusetts printing company may continue to do work at the company’s new copy center despite protests from a separate union that the work should have been awarded to its members, the National Labor Relations Board has ruled.

George H. Dean Co. employs members of The Commercial Division 67 of the Boston Newspaper Printing Pressmen’s Union, Local 3 in its printing department and members of Graphic Communications Conference/International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Boston Local 600M in the binding department of its main facility....
