EU, Colombia, Peru Finalize Text For Trade Deal

Law360, New York (March 28, 2011, 5:36 PM EDT) -- Top trade officials for the European Union, Colombia and Peru approved the final text of their recently negotiated free trade agreement Thursday, paving the way for the regions to liberalize trade in agricultural and industrial products.

The chief negotiators from the two Latin American nations and the European Commission initialed the final version of the agreement, which will cover trade and investment relations between the three entities.
