Ind. Democrats End Labor Bill Walkout

Law360, New York (March 28, 2011, 6:17 PM EDT) -- Democrats in the Indiana House of Representatives returned to work on Monday, ending their five-week walkout to protest a right-to-work bill, limits on collective bargaining and other Republican measures.

Indiana House Democratic Leader B. Patrick Bauer said in a statement Monday that having obtained concessions from Republicans, the Democrats would return to legislature from their self-imposed exile at a hotel in Urbana, Ill.
