Innospec Told To Give Bank Info To NewMarket

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 6:39 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Virginia on Friday ordered Innospec Inc. to try harder to meet a discovery request regarding bank information in NewMarket Corp.'s suit alleging it bribed officials in Iraq and Indonesia to secure sales of its fuel additive.

U.S. Magistrate Judge M. Hannah Lauck of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia granted NewMarket's motion and ordered Innospec and subsidiary Alcor Chemie Vertriebs GmbH to ask their banks for details on accounts used in the transfer, funneling or processing of certain...
