Fed. Circ. Restores Validity Of Can Construction IP

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 7:20 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday reversed a lowered court's invalidation of Crown Packaging Technology Inc.'s metal beverage can construction patents, finding that their specifications met the written description requirement and their claims were not anticipated by prior art.
