Judge Orders Rockwell To Pay Golden Voice $3.5M For Infringing Call-Center Patent

Law360, New York (October 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered Rockwell Electronic Commerce Corporation to pay Golden Voice Technology & Training, LLC more than $3.5 million for infringing its patented telephone call center technology.

The final judgment, by Chief Judge Patricia Fawsett of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, was entered after a jury found in 2003 that Rockwell willfully infringed Golden Voice’s patent.
