Hill-Rom Targets Stryker Over Bed, Stretcher Patents

Law360, New York (April 5, 2011, 2:58 PM EDT) -- Medical technology provider Hill-Rom Services Inc. launched a suit in Wisconsin on Monday accusing rival Stryker Corp. of infringing nine patents covering various types of hospital beds and stretchers.

Stryker infringes the asserted patents through its sale of multiple varieties of patient care beds, ancillary patient care beds and stretcher products throughout the U.S., Hill-Rom alleges in a complaint filed in the U.S. District court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
