Judge Gives The Green Light To Mushroom Suit

Law360 (April 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has allowed most of a lawsuit against the Eastern Mushroom Marketing Cooperative Inc. and some members alleging a monopoly in the mushroom industry to proceed.

Judge Thomas N. O’Neill of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a decision Wednesday that all but the claims related to monopolization and attempted monopolization against the member defendants should go forward.
