Mercedes-Benz Recalls SUVs For Cruise Control Fix

Law360, New York (April 5, 2011, 12:37 PM EDT) -- Mercedes-Benz USA Inc. is recalling 136,750 M-Class and M-Class AMG vehicles in the U.S. over a defect that could make it harder to disengage the vehicle's cruise control and increase the risk of a crash, federal safety regulators reported Tuesday.

The recall covers model year 2000 to 2002 M-Class and model year 2000 to 2004 M-Class AMG luxury sport utility vehicles, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
