Seiko Epson Sues Toymakers Over LCD Patents

Law360 (April 11, 2011, 1:54 PM EDT) -- Seiko Epson Corp. sued Mattel Inc. in Delaware federal court on Thursday, alleging the toymaker and others infringed three patents related to liquid crystal display technology.

The LCD maker accused Mattel, Leapfrog Enterprises Inc. and Giantplus Technology Co. Ltd. of violating the patents with their sales of several electronics products aimed at young children.
