Hercules Reveals SEC, DOJ Probes Of FCPA Violations

Law360 (April 7, 2011, 9:11 PM EDT) -- Houston-based Hercules Offshore Inc. is under investigation by federal regulators for possible violations of securities law and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The offshore drilling company was subpoenaed on Monday by the SEC to turn over documents in connection with the investigation into possible FCPA violations in certain international operations, the company said in the filing.
