FDA Attempt To Quash Subpoenas Denied

Law360, New York (May 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An attempt by the Food and Drug Administration to block a subpoena sought by a small biotechnologies firm in a case brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has failed, after a district court refused to grant the agency’s request for an injunction.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Monday denied the FDA’s motion to quash a subpoena request filed by Richard B. Seldon as part of his defense in a case brought against him by the SEC.
