Judge Recommends Revoking Impax’s Registration

Law360, New York (May 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An administrative law judge has recommended that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suspend or revoke the registration of Impax Laboratories on the grounds that the pharmaceutical company has not filed a financial report since 2004.

The judge, part of the internal adjudication mechanism of the SEC, issued the decision on April 30. Impax said that the company would appeal the ruling.
