Judge Cuts Claims From Genesco Harassment Suit

Law360 (April 13, 2011, 4:21 PM EDT) -- A New Mexico federal judge on Tuesday pared a sexual harassment suit filed against footwear retailer Genesco Inc. by an ex-employee who claimed her hours were cut after she complained about a store manager's unwelcome advances.

Judge William Johnson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico tossed four of seven counts in Lauren Torres' intervenor complaint in the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Title VII suit against the company, which does business as Journeys.
