Dominion Says Coal Supplier Breached Contract

Law360, New York (April 14, 2011, 7:25 PM EDT) -- Dominion Virginia Power sued PBS Coals Inc. on Thursday for allegedly breaching a contract to supply coal by delaying shipments to the Virginia utility and failing to meet the coal quantities requested.

In the suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Dominion accused PBS of deliberately manipulating the coal delivery schedule in order to supply Dominion last after serving clients who paid a higher price.
