UK Court Finds Heathrow Access Ban Anti-Competitive

Law360, New York (April 15, 2011, 5:49 PM EDT) -- A U.K. court ruled Friday that Heathrow Airport Ltd. abused its dominant position by seeking to prevent two parking service companies from accessing certain areas of the London airport's terminals to valet cars.

The Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice for England and Wales agreed with Purple Parking Ltd. and Meteor Parking Ltd. that the airport's attempted exclusion of the two companies from operating in terminal forecourts placed them at a competitive disadvantage.
