Caraco Investors Seek Class Cert. In Stock Price Suit

Law360, New York (April 18, 2011, 7:47 PM EDT) -- Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. investors on Friday asked a Michigan federal court for class certification in their suit accusing the drugmaker of misleading them about conditions at manufacturing plants that led to government raids and fallen share prices.

Plaintiffs Tushar Amin, Kevin Koziatek and Jonathan Wilkof are seeking to represent a class of investors who acquired Caraco stock between May 29, 2008 and June 25, 2009, the day the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced U.S. Marshals had raided three of the drugmaker's Michigan plants to...
