Authorities Topple Price-Fixing Cartel

Law360, New York (May 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice announced the arrest of eight executives Tuesday as part of a worldwide crackdown on price-fixing for marine hoses, used to load and unload oil from tankers.

As a result of the arrests, which took place in Houston and San Francisco, one criminal complaint was unsealed and another was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
