Union Says NY Courts Could Lay Off Up To 500

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 12:26 PM EDT) -- The New York State Unified Court System plans to lay off between 400 and 500 employees by June 1 due to drastic budget cuts, one of the unions representing state court employees said last week.
