US Sens., South Korea Rally For Approval Of FTA

Law360 (April 19, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A group of U.S. senators met Tuesday with South Korea’s president and foreign minister in a bid to encourage U.S. lawmakers to approve a free trade agreement that proposes to ease Korean tariffs on U.S. cars, manufactured goods and agricultural products.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Sen. John Hoeven, R-North Dakota, and a delegation of senators met with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan in Seoul, aiming to promote the ratification of the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement by the U.S....
