US-Panama Trade Pact Erases 87% Of Consumer Tariffs

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 8:06 PM EDT) -- A day after announcing a proposed free trade pact was ready for congressional consideration, U.S. officials unveiled details of the agreement Tuesday that eliminates 87 percent of tariffs on U.S. exports of consumer and industrial products to Panama immediately.
