NY Judges Get Record Number Of Complaints In 2010

Law360, New York (April 20, 2011, 7:38 PM EDT) -- New York state's court system received a record high number of judicial complaints in 2010, though fewer judges were tossed from the bench, investigated or received disciplinary action, a judicial watchdog said Tuesday.

There were 2,025 complaints lodged against New York judges last year, beating a record high of 1,923 complaints in 2008, according to an annual report from the state Commission on Judicial Conduct.
