Ariz. Bill Would Protect Weed-Testing Employers

Law360, New York (April 20, 2011, 5:45 PM EDT) -- Lawmakers in Arizona gave the green light Tuesday to legislation that would give employers the ability to take action against workers who appear to be impaired on the job due to legal or illegal drug use, including medical marijuana.

The Arizona House of Representatives approved H.B. 2541 by a 52-8 vote, sending the bill to Gov. Jan Brewer for consideration.
