Mo. House Backs Written Consent For Union Dues

Law360, New York (April 20, 2011, 10:37 PM EDT) -- The Missouri House of Representatives on Wednesday backed legislation requiring unions to obtain written consent to deduct money from its members paychecks for political purposes.

Missouri is one of several Midwest states wrangling over legislation that would cause unions to take a hit in their finances.
