6th Circ. Rules For Ford In Mustang Trademark Fight

Law360, New York (April 22, 2011, 4:38 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit sided Friday with Ford Motor Co. in its long-running trademark fight with Mustangs Unlimited Inc., upholding a lower court’s decision holding the car parts seller in contempt for repeatedly flouting a consent agreement with the automaker.

In a ruling Friday, a three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit rejected Mustangs Unlimited's argument that U.S. District Judge Paul Borman erred by not conducting a complete hearing prior to granting Ford’s bid to set aside the deal and force Mustangs to pay a fine and attorneys’...
