EPA Wants More Info On Chesapeake Fracking Spill

Law360, New York (April 26, 2011, 12:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Monday it had requested information from Chesapeake Energy Corp. about a natural gas well blowout in Bradford County, Pa., that spilled thousands of gallons of chemical-laced hydraulic fracturing fluids.

The EPA acknowledged that the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection was the lead in responding to this incident.
