Cadwalader Launches Brussels Base With Antitrust Vet

Law360 (April 28, 2011, 2:14 PM EDT) -- Former joint head of Linklaters LLP's global antitrust practice Alec J. Burnside will join Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP on Sunday, where he will lead the firm's efforts to build a new Brussels office, the U.S. firm said Thursday.

Burnside, who specializes in European antitrust issues ranging from merger control and state aid reviews to cartel and abuse of dominance cases, will manage the new office.
