Former LendingTree Exec Gets Probation

Law360, New York (May 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former executive of online mortgage lending broker LendingTree was placed on a one-year period of probation on Monday for his role in an insider trading scandal that enabled co-workers to reap thousands of dollars in illicit profits.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Voorhees handed down the probation sentence on Monday to David Anderson, a former senior vice president at the Charlotte, North Carolina-based LendingTree, the Charlotte Business Journal reported.
