Poultry Producer Antitrust Appeal Passed Up By High Court

Law360, New York (May 2, 2011, 2:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to consider OK Industries Inc.’s appeal of a $14.5 million judgment in favor of a group of chicken raisers who claimed their contracts with the poultry producer included provisions that harmed competition.

The high court denied OK Industries’ petition for a writ of certiorari in the case without giving a reason for its decision.
