Obstacles Await Thomson-Reuters Merger Probe

Law360 (May 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A potential $17.5 billion merger between Thomson Corp. and Reuters Group PLC is likely to draw heavy regulatory scrutiny and spur a debate about how to accurately define this emerging market of financial information providers, experts say.
