Akin Gump Reps Capital Product In $281M Tanker Fleet Buy

Law360, New York (May 5, 2011, 1:40 PM EDT) -- Greek oil tanker fleet owner Capital Product Partners LP said Thursday it would buy Athens-based competitor Crude Carriers Corp. in an all-stock deal that values the target company at $281 million.

The deal is based upon Crude Carriers' $12.99 per share closing price on May 4, the companies said, and the price marks more than a 35 percent premium over that value.
