China Renews Duties On Neoprene Imports

Law360, New York (May 9, 2011, 6:07 PM EDT) -- China said Monday it would renew anti-dumping duties on imports of the synthetic rubber neoprene from Japan, the U.S. and the European Union for an additional five years in order to protect its domestic industry.

China’s Ministry of Commerce said Monday it would extend the measures for an additional five-year period after a review revealed that they were necessary to keep neoprene, the trade name for chloroprene rubber, from being dumped on the Chinese market.
