DOJ Subpoeanas Goodyear In Hose Probe

Law360, New York (May 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has served Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with a grand jury subpoena for documents related to an antitrust investigation into alleged price-fixing in the marine hose industry, the company said.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday, the largest U.S. tire maker said that neither it nor any of its executives have been named in any criminal complaint. No search warrants have been served at any of its facilities in connection with the burgeoning international investigation....
