J&J Recalls HIV Drug Over Odor-Causing Chemical

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 2:02 PM EDT) -- A Johnson & Johnson unit revealed Wednesday it was recalling several lots of its HIV/AIDS drug Prezista in four European countries over an odor-causing chemical that has spurred J&J to launch a number of other recalls.

J&J unit Janssen-Cilag International NV and the European Medicines Agency agreed to a Class II recall of four lots of less than 2,000 bottles of Prezista 400-mg or 600-mg tablets in Germany, Austria, the U.K. and Ireland.
