EU Launches Probes Of Indian Steel Fastener Exports

Law360, New York (May 13, 2011, 6:41 PM EDT) -- The European Union launched parallel anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations into industrial steel fastener exports from India on Friday based on complaints from a European trade group.

The European Commission decided to look into allegations that Indian stainless steel manufacturers benefit from a number of government subsidies and sell the products in the 27-member bloc for less than fair value to the detriment of local manufacturers.
