Vonage Ready To Deploy Verizon Workarounds: CEO

Law360, New York (May 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Troubled internet telephony provider Vonage Holdings Corp. has assured investors the end of the company’s woes are in sight despite ongoing patent litigation with rival Verizon Communications.

In a first quarter earnings conference call Thursday, Vonage Chief Executive Jeffrey Citron said the company was ready to deploy new designs to get around two of Verizon’s three patents at issue, and was busy working on technology to avoid treading on the third.
