Mont. May Hear Public Trust Challenge To CO2 Regs

Law360, New York (May 18, 2011, 6:04 PM EDT) -- The Montana Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered state officials to respond to a climate change petition filed on behalf of youths, indicating that the court may become the first to weigh a legal theory that the atmosphere is a public trust that must be protected.
