Quest Claims Ex-Manager Stole Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (May 19, 2011, 5:26 PM EDT) -- Quest Software Inc. filed a lawsuit in Michigan on Wednesday accusing a former account manager of breaching his contract and stealing trade secrets to help Electronic Claims Services Inc. poach its automobile glass insurance claims administration's clients.

The software developer filed a complaint alleging James Neumann, a former account manager for Quest's glass services business, had helped ECS negotiate a deal to acquire a Quest competitor, Michigan-based Great Lakes, in an effort to usurp Quest's third-party insurance claims administration business related to automobile glass.
