Home Automation Co.'s Antitrust Suit Lives On

Law360, Los Angeles (May 20, 2011, 3:02 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Thursday denied Crestron Electronics Inc.’s motion to dismiss Savant Systems LLC’s complaint alleging Crestron illegally cornered the market for programmable controllers used in home automation and falsely advertised its products.

“Defendant submits several arguments contesting the sufficiency of the allegations,” Senior Judge Edward F. Harringon wrote in his decision. “These arguments are without merit.”
